About Kim
Hello! My name is Kim, and my passion for assisting others stems from my own experience as a successful travel advisor.
I have spent my entire adult life in the travel industry. My love for travel started early, with a military father and a lot of early flights to many destinations.
After high school I went straight to the Colorado School of Travel. College would wait until later. My internship at Cruise Holidays turned into a six year job. From there I taught sales and geography at The Travel Trade School, then took contract work with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity in Miami before moving into group travel for university programs.
In 2010 I opened my own agency in Evergreen, Colorado. We specialized in group tours for chambers of commerce and independent travel to Asia. Moving online let us expand, and we ended up doing so much Disney World that we relocated to Orlando to stay on top of it. After Disney burnout, my husband and I moved to Italy, where we bought a small home in Calabria.
Along the way I have visited 72 countries and lived in Spain, Morocco, Italy, and Mexico. I have taken countless cruises, hosted many group tours, and earned multiple designations. That depth of experience is what sets my work apart. I understand suppliers, destinations, and the way advisors actually run their businesses.
I am now about 90% retired from retail sales and work with travel advisors rather than the public, taking on the things they do not have time for. Nobody was doing this when I ran my own agency. I could have used the help.
Tell me about your project in a quick note, and you will hear back from me the same day with pricing, turnaround time, and what I need to get started.
